The American Embassy Employees Association (AEEA) is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Business Manager.

Position: Business Manager

Work Hours Full time: 44 hours/week
Salary: 4000 ETB per month
Under the general supervison of the American Embassy Employee Association (AEEA) Board, the incumbent will serve as the Business Manager to manage, control, supervise and direct the day to day operations of all Association service centers, including commissary store, cafeteria, library/video rental, and campsite. Provides for the delivery of quality services; is responsible for the accurate accounting of AEEA finances and protection of assets; implements policies and directives established by the Association through its Governing Board.
Qualification required:
1. Education: Degree from college or university in the field of accounting, finance, business management or a closely related field is required.
2. Prior Experience: Four or more years of experience in retail management, restaurant management or related field. Experience must include at least one year of supervising employees in a customer service environment.
3. Language Requirement: Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/Reading English and conversational Amharic is required.
4. Other Skills: Knowledge and proficiency in operating Microsoft Office Suite programs are required. Working knowledge of a point of sales system or inventory control system.
5. Interpersonal Skill Requirements: Excellent managerial and customer service skills are required.
